You are correct. I thought they were included in the Cemex sale. I grew up staying frequently with my grandparentz in Monta Vista just below the Kaiser Permanente plant and hearing the noon whistle. I also worked for 17 years and retired from Kaiser hospitals and after I retired in 1996 I toured the plant in anticipation of writing a story about the Permsnente local which hauled the coal up to the plant for years. My husbands uncle Tony Voss owned the Stevens Creek Quarry just down the road and was paid a handsome sum for years not to quarry a certain kind of rock. My husbands grandfather had orchards at the end of Voss Road which looked down into the quarry— Kaiser has been a big part of my life!😀. and I just tossed my Perm local notes into the dumpster last week as we seek to get rid of all the “stuff” in this house!😀
