Yes, if it's a special hospital train, it could be moved by a direct route as you describe. But UP has been known to do things in standard ways, and the standard way from the southern Bay Area would be to go to Roseville, then back to wherever else it's going. How is it possible to know now, when nothing's even been scheduled yet, what route it would take? And at what point do you give up and start looking at trucking companies?
