GeorgeManley sounds very confident about the move, but I read elsewhere, posted publicly by people who are credible--not just posting rumors or opinions but legit albeit second hand information--that it will be a day move during the wet season and it will go via Altamont and the Cal P.

Daytime move so they can keep an eye on stuff and fix anything if something bad happens.

Wet season due to fire concerns.

Not sure why Altamont over Oakland but there it is.
