Progressive Rail has not yet taken over operations. There is no new tentative date put forth as of today, but "within 45 days" is what is now hoped for. Several previous dates have come and gone. The main holdup has been Canadian Customs issues, and all that entails. Things are moving like molasses going uphill. The new reporting marks will be STPP. There are six "new" locomotives on the property that are being leased by Progressive. Four GP38-2s, and two GP40-2s. Progressive has offered pretty decent wages to the KFR employees that are making the transition, but they are going to be salaried as opposed to hourly under Omnitrax. Depending on how many days/hours their jobs will be working will be the determining factor on how good they make out. Regarding the San Poil, the Progressive Rail purchase of that line is still "in negotiation." When PGR takes over the rest of the railroad, Omnitrax will be running the San Poil with its own crews, interchanging with the STPP in Kettle Falls, until a sale is worked out. However long that may be.
