They run the most un-predictable schedule in Eastern WA. Their empties are determined by:
1. The BNSF giving them empties.
2. Shippers needing cars to move something to move that they have sold.

Outbound trains are determined by:
1. Shippers having something ready to move that they have sold.
2. The Templin (Ritzville) elevator facility having an open slot to take a train to unload.

Both inbound and outbound moves are also subject to the contractor currently doing State-funded maintenance having the track passable.

They are currently making many of their moves on weekends--which is good for those of us with M-F jobs. To compound the confusion, they run lots of small blocks from individual co-ops. They can run to or from Cheney to or from any (or a combination of) elevator complex--Coulee City, Hartline, Almira, Davenport, or Reardan. They can also choose to go part way and tie up somewhere in between. Watch for the little white chase vehicle that the conductor drives. The crew is normally very friendly and can tell you the plan if they see that you are just taking pictures.

MRL SD40-2 #260 was recently waybilled back to the MRL, since 2 of the 2 SD45s returned from heavy maintenance. I don't know if it's still on the property.
