Most Northern Pacific road diesels did have dynamic brakes, including all the F-Units except the 2 FP-9's, all U-Boats, and all SD-45's. The early Geeps and RS units were hit or miss, as they were ordered for specific assignments, mostly on the Eastern end of the railroad.
