Redding and Dunsmir CA train stations are awful Redding was really awful until the Shasta Cascade Rail Preservation group put alot of work into the depot 15 or so years ago. The coast starlight is supposed to show up at around 2am in Redding IIRC. Most of the time it would show up closer to 7am. Which being a railfan offed a nice daylight trip through the valley. Which didn’t soothe angry customers.
