Nice try Clem, building for 110-125 mph. operational segments, does not cost the same as 200 mph.. It would cost much more to build, and it would cost much more to operate, and would, therefore, cost much more for people to ride, as we've witnessed in the current failed HSR fiasco.

In most City pair market in CA, in our high travel demand intercity/congested travel time corridors it is unnecessary to build a costly 200 mph. variation to achieve Branson's "sweet spot" (a significantly better than "normal" auto time, at least twice as fast, as during congested auto travel times, with more competitive fares, than fully allocated driving costs, and local air fares.

But, it is good to see you're still trying to sell us on that...
