Given the type of Gub'ment that (the polls as of 10-16-08 indicate) "we" prefer, why should anybody have any incentive to work--especially if you ever hope to bring down $250K a year? Since I finished college in '78, I have NEVER (thankfully) been out of work (even from '77-'81). I'm suddenly feeling the urge to join the mouth-breathing bottom feeders who pay no taxes but get refund checks(??????). I might just wait for the wealthy sports superstars and Hollywood morons to "spread it around"--EXCEPT that I was born with this birth defect called a "conscience".

Oh yeah--this is a RR forum. I have noticed than many of the storage-car-filled sidings are opening up lately. Could be some cars coming out to go to scrap as they age? Many shortlines have made enough money to show a nice profit just from storage fees. If that irate op-writer is talking about the Colfax-Pullman line, he or she might have a vested interest in a hoped-for trail along that route.
