With all due respect, "you just don't get it, son". It has A LOT to do with trains. A safe driver, means less possibilities of grade crossing accidents. Constant testing at DMV's every three to five years would do wonders. As much as I hate Government regulation, this is a field where us Americans, need to start to admit we suck in... Generally.
Now, George, you probably are a good driver, right?
Assuming this doesn't apply to you or me; It does apply to the vast majority of Americans. Many preventable injuries or deaths CAN AND SHOULD be avoided. All because DMV is a joke. This project should go hand in hand with a National Grade Crossing elmination campaign involving something like Operation Lifesaver...
Insurance companies might even make a profit. Did you ever study statistics? Insurance? Probability?
Enough said. Contribute, before you start yelling and attacking others, just because you ignorance is abundant. Try harder and you might see "the big picture", George.
