Caption says this train is out of Whittier, but I am thinking its a returning Los Nietos Hauler. COI also ran an Anaheim Hauler, and at least one other, maybe a train down the West Santa Ana Branch. Power was mostly Cruds and C415s, but also GP9s. SP operated three Taylor to COI transfers; the Industry Turn, the Marne Turn, and the Walnut Turn. The last two went no futher east that COI, the names were just to differentiate the trains. These turns sometimes used idle passenger power such as FP7s. Back in those days I would ride my bike all thru the yard without ever being asked to leave
