No. 208 was the last steam rotary snowplow on the SP, with its final operation under steam on March 2-March 3, 1969 to clear the McCloud Railroad's Ponderosa branch. It also did a limited amount of plowing of SP tracks at Mount Shasta City on March 2 while on the way to the Ponderosa branch. No. 208 was converted to electric operation in 1970.
