Oh my, my, my, you guys are sure a bunch. They are called many names from homeless to bums to idiots to kids that are having trouble in high school or college and on and on. But they all have one thing in common. They have families and people who will miss them and they will ruin your day. You are pulling a few thousand tons at track speed and this guy is in front of you. All you can do is lean on the horn and dump the air. You know, there is absolutely nothing that can be done and you say a little prayer for their salvation. So when you get stopped, you wait for the coroner, talk to the cops, fill out the mandatory paperwork, take the pee test, wait for the dogcatch van with your relief crew and then go home. You hug the wife and kids and they know by your attitude what happened. You and your crew mark off for a few days until you get your wits back and then mark up and go back on the pool board and hope it never happens again.

And yes Bill, I do have sympathy for them. All of them, whether I hit them or not. They are solving a temporary problem with a permanent solution. It's you guys sitting in your easy chairs and making stupid comments on this place or trainorders who are the real idiots. Do me a favour and next time you see your kids or grandkids, think about what I just said. How would you feel. You, Bill, and your buddies are the ones who need an attitude adjustment.
