no such think as clean coal

I must dispute your statement that "'coal is not clean' is not absolutely true." Even if (and that's a big if) carbon can be sequestered from the coal burning process, the process of extracting coal is a very dirty process. Much of the coal now days is extracted through Mountain Top Removal (MTR). MTR is a crime against the people of Appalachia and a sin against God's wonderful creation. It is destroying our most precious natural resource, water. Appalachia exports billions in mineral wealth each year, yet is one of the poorest regions of the country. That's dirty, no matter how you look at it. Look at Eastern Kentucky and West Virginia on Google Earth and check out the massive scars on the landscape. They look more like the surface of the moon than Appalachia and they are everywhere. Eastern Kentucky's economy has been structred as a colony to benefit big city bankers and supranational energy countries. MTR removal must stop!
