PSR and Steam: Twilight Situation?

Now that UP has gone PSR isn' the logical extension of the changes in all other parts of the UP system to shut down the entire steam program?

One can imagine that with this being the sesquicentennial year UP isn't going to drop out of the grand celebration now but with the next big anniversary year 50 years away, won't this summer or fall be an ideal time to pull the bin on the steam and heritage program deal?

This seems so readily obvious to me that I think the burden should be on anyone reckless or foolish enough to argue that the steam program will continue past the Ogden celebration.

So what makes you think UP is going to keep up their non-revenue generating steam program after this summer, fool?
