You are right- early adopters face undiscovered bugs. The local poster child is the 40 each EMD F125 locos bought by Southers California Metrolink rail. They have spent since the first one delivered. The incident remembered Is when one broke down on the way to the unveiling party. Search “metrolink F125 problems”. But I am a loyal EMD fan, Cal-P
