Amtrak in Illinois and Iowa

I looked at the Discussion Board today (been out of town a while) and saw a post indicating that Amtrak is moving the CZ to the former C&NW (UP) from, apparently, the BNSF. It has run in and out of CUS, over the C B & Q for as long as I can remember, including from when I rode it while my family moved to CA in the 50's. Anyone hear or read why that change would be made? My understanding, at least when it comes to No. 11 and 14, that the BNSF is or has been notably better at keeping Amtrak trains on time.
