A quiet afternoon at Roaring Camp

Not much train action around in these parts, so I decided to poke my nose in Roaring Camp in Felton, California this afternoon to see what was up. Both CF7's were tied down with their respective passenger trains, a centerbeam was spotted across the tracks, and the Dixiana was simmering after doing a mid-morning trip. Only one soul was working in the shop this afternoon, and the other sign of life was a small dog next to the Roaring Camp depot. Although people do make the trains go, it was nice to just walk around and have the place to yourself!

Spare parts for a shay or two outside the shop in Roaring Camp.
