All due respect, Max, in the eyes of US politicians the diesel bus bears no stigma. They love them, tho some modifications may be necessary from time to time to satisfy political correctness standards du jour.

Ergo the Geary BRT, a total botch job. Those European electric bus, trolley and/or battery, manufacturers have their work cut out if they wish to peddle their wares hereabouts. The transit planning staffs are clueless and the pols even dumber, just pretty faces. Apart from the diesel bus their idea of improved public transit are lyfts and ubers.

Just where they will find the street space for all those rubber tyred vehicles, manned or driverless, the Gypsy only knows.
