The mods in Ashland used to get a lot of crabs.(The sheets were not dried at a high enough temp and it was from bums using the rooms.) Well, a few guys were pissed & so were their wives. Well, the SP finally got the whole place sprayed and there was a message posted in Dunsmuir and Ashland. It read, "The problem with Crabs at the Ashland Mods has been taken care off." The RFE that posted it but his name on the message.

These were placed in the crew areas which in Dunsmuir was a public area for Atk passengers. I would guess some Atk folks lost that warm fuzzy feeling when they got on No. 13 at Dunsmuir, looking forward to a calm sleep down the valley.

Now bedbugs are a different story.
