The new Siemens Chargers are capable of faster than that, especially if it was a pair with a similar amount of cars. You don’t usually see them accelerate fast out of stations due to road crossings nearby with slow gate activations, but when you want them to go, they really go.

There was a learning curve when they started arriving. Handle the throttle the same way as a Genesis or F59 and you would be through the crossing before the gates lowered.
