We thank you again for adding to SP steam history Grant...I was aware of the 4211 running light after the Niles helper trip, but not the complete story. Appreciate your sharing it here.
BTW, just checked the date that John Hungerford put on his slides and that 4211 Niles Canyon trip was on 11-29-56. She cut off @ Altamont & ran light west to Niles after helping the pair of GP-9's east.
