In the Bay Area, BART discourages airport by charging an Airport rip-off fee. For example, One-way from Coliseum to 12th St. Oakland City Center is $2.00 clipper/250 cash but One-way from Oakland International Airport to 12th St. Oakland City Center is $8.05 clipper/8.65 cash.

Multiply by a family of 3 or more and it is easier to call Uber.
