The UP Executive E Units are essentially GP38-2 inside, i.e. the engine is a single 16-645E non-turbocharged at 2000 HP, while the electrical control system is completely GP38-2.

There are no 710 roots blown engines. All 710 series engines are turbocharged, thus there would be no point in destroying the historical exterior appearance of the 3 E Units, for such a VERY expensive project. Especially when the current manager will not have anything to do with them anyway.
