In my younger days, I used to go out to nightclubs during my trips to Chicago. One night I was out very late and trying to get back to my brother's place on the Chicago Transit Authority. I had to change trains in the Loop. I remember waiting a very long time in a subway station, because I wasn't aware that frequency was reduced to once per hour.

Just because CTA ran 24-hour service didn't make it better than CTA or a model for BART to follow.
