What do you want us to say....Ethanol sucks has lower btu’s which in return causes lower fuel mileage. In a carburetor you have increase jet sizes 50%. In free states such as Texas and Oklahoma, you can buy “unadulterated” straight gas from places like Sinclair or Kum and Go. It is amazing the fuel mileage that can be had in an SUV, a hybrid will just about blow you mind how far it will go and it only cost 1.98 a gallon. Dollars per miles obviously goes further. Then add lower taxes than Kalifornia. Its a no brainer why the younger generation is fleeing Kalifornia
The only good think about Ethanol E 85 that is, is that it is 110 octane which works well in high horsepower applications and is generally cheaper than Race Gas and regular gas in free state. Dunno why E-85 is so expensive in Kali. But the demand is less due to its almost equal cost to gasoline here in the Newsome state.
