Hey you all...I was on Martin's trip on the McCloud for two days, with the lady in my life. Two of us for two days. You can figure out the cost...expecially coming from New Jersey. In my opinion, Martin did an excellent job working the spots, working with the light, the mountain backdrop, the tender water, and yes, the sticking brakes. I for one got beautiful pictures (and I am picky). The engine looked wonderful, especially without the silver smokebox. Martin changed around the consist for the second day. The train switched directions. In my judgement, it was an excellent trip and a grand fairwell to the last run of #25 at McCloud in the sun (!!!), and on a freight train -as God intended her to pull. Great work Martin! We are very glad we came, but....when you are paying $350 per day, per person....you would expect some privacy, respect and without freeloaders. Well done Martin, and thank you!
