Look...Everything in life has a glass ceiling. I would like to own a Deusenberg. Can't afford one. Yet, the owner of Dominos Pizza has several. Our jobs, the houses we live in, the ladies who will go out with us, the trips we make, we all have our limits. You just can't walk into an exclusive, members only yacht club, and expect to be welcomed if you are not a paying member. Public Excursions are just that...for the public. (The $95 trip this weekend at McCloud). A private performance is private. If you are staying in a hotel that has a Saturday night wedding with orchestra going on in the ballroom...you just can't walk in there uninvited, have some cake and dance. You were not invited or bringing (paying) the just married a present that at least covers your cost of a seat at their affair. Martin's trip at McCloud was very similar. He made the invitation to come to those whom he knew worked well together. Those that had the time (and money) to cover their seat (in the caboose), were accepted. The event was not open to the general public. It was a private affair...like the above mentioned wedding. Fair is fair. Decency is decency. The glass ceiling in life keeps us all out of somethings...like a Deusenberg. Michael Eagleson
