I used to have a pet cow when I was kid, since she was sick and could not produce milk, I adopted it and she was very shy at first but afterwards she was just like a big dog.

This brought me great memories as I grew up in a farm. That deer is definitely special, but a lot has to do with the owners and the dog.

Bless their heart. Animals detect kind people and these people have earned their trust.
