Yes, you are right on 2 counts that a stationary boiler does run largely on automatic, and that a road locomotive depends on the skill of the fireman and engineer running together. Yes, a road locomotive is more complex to operate than what we run at the zoo. However, how many of these whiners that keep blowing their safety valves are qualified to operate either one? Hence, my challenge.
Dr Zarkoff: I don't know if these people with sour grapes are old head volunteers or not. Frankly, I don't care. The incessant whining and complaining has become quite a bore. That's why I really would like to know what they think their qualifications are to make some of the charges they have thrown out there. I have no problem with throwing mud, but if someone is going to do it, have the guts to stand up and give the reasons why, and in something like this, tell us why we should listen to them, what relevance they have.
