All the electrification of the #38 and #7 need is commitment at the top and willingness to tell BART-MTC and SPUR to take a flying leap. She should insist on a more Muni-friendly MTC and less puppeted by BART.

Breed is moving so far to the bleeding heart side she risks being opposed by a more centrist downtown-oriented pol more in the mold of Ed Lee. Doing something nuts and bolts would make her look less utopian fantasy.
