A friend sent me this piece disparaging Amtrak in the heartland.

Of course this has to be thru the most economically depressed and depressing region of America. Appalachia and the Rustbelt. Not an upbeat trip in the dead of winter.

You think California pols are stupid and corrupt; check out Ohio where the most profitable casino(located in a suburban area away from the crime of downtown Cleveland)is not even allowed to have video poker.
