No, that was the point. I have all the respect in the world for what Steve Lee and his crew did for the UP Steam program. Nothing but first class. It upsets me to see 3985 being used for parts.
I don't know how long it would take to restore a Big Boy, but, I don't think you do either. I do know that their were a lot of people who have enjoyed watching the Big Boy the last couple of days. So what is the purpose of trying to keep being so damn negative, especially by people who were not ever part of the steam program. Are you all trying to show you can out "piss" Ed. Let me just say that Bob 3985 felt the hurt from Ed probably as much as anyone, but all his postings that I have read have been very professional he keeps promoting railroading as much as anyone. Too me, a much better example then all the negative nannies.
