Why isn't the 4014 working hard?

I am surprised that there is sufficient power on that UP train. The 4014, the 844, and a WD40 diesel doesn't seem like enough power to drag a 9 car passenger train and 2 axillary tenders down the track. Why isn't the Big boy working hard?
