Bing's backgrounds are all chosen to be "pretty" - and are processed to the point where the original photo might be unidentifiable. Think more saturation, more dynamic range, more sharpness, clean everything before taking the photo then clone out any bits of trash that remain, carefully crop, etc. However, they succeed very well at their purpose: pretty screen backgrounds.

Thanks for the shot! I haven't seen that one - the one on my phone today is some European castle that has a few interesting points.
