Unfortunately the mill is now 25 years old, which in this day and age makes it almost antique. Mills built 20 years ago are being closed and demolished. Technology, for better or worse has made these mill obsolete. And, with the trees getting smaller and smaller, fewer mills are needed, base them along the I5 corridor where trucking will handle the loads. No fun for rail fans, but an economic necessity.
