The Pacheco Pass megaproject is the pet of San Josie, ergo the likes of the SVLG, Guardino, Liccardo and likely some of the Peninsula bazillionaires. No doubt BART-MTC also prefers it as it leaves Altamont wide open for bechtel gauge.

Just as Palmdale base tunnels are the pet of Antonovich, Barry Zoeller and the Palmdale real estate developers.

Just who has the nerve to stop these worthies? Certainly not Gavin. The courts? A great longshot.
