Well, I don't think AAA has much to say about something like this...... but I'm not seeing where allowing right turns on red AFTER STOPPING AND YIELDING TO OTHER TRAFFIC, PEDESTRIANS, ETC is the direct cause of the traffic deaths. Seems like a bit of a knee jerk reaction that in reality probably wouldn't change much except the number of tickets being written.

My city is also pursuing a "zero vision" policy with traffic deaths. A nice thought in a Utopian setting but not practically attainable in the "real" world, unless you ban motor vehicles all together.....
