You mean like those nylon straps that failed well below their rated strength that Talgo's own highly paid maintenance forces failed to address?

What about the fact that the Cascades is the ONLY TRAIN IN THE ENTIRE AMTRAK SYSTEM THAT IS REQUIRED TO HAVE A MANUFACTURER MECHANIC ONBOARD EACH AND EVERY TRAIN?

Let me guess. John is a Talgo employee. And if the train was so safe, three people wouldn't have died.
