I know this doesn't really help, but maybe it's a kernal of a clue to start with. There were a lot of LPs around in the late 1970s of railroad recordings.

I don't know if one was done of the Northeast Corridor, so this may all be for moot, but you could put an "alert me search" on eBay. If someone put one up for sale, you'd get an e-mail.

I just searched eBay now to see if there was one, and nothing came up.

Sorry this is pretty aenimic... but hopefully it might lead to something.

I also tried doing a "wav. file" search for Penn Central on Google, but nothing came up.
