Back on B.
For the first time in seven days, Central California Traction Company's handsome red units gracefully stride down B Street. Brakeman Kevin Garcia clutches his handheld microphone speaker, informing the engineer of roadway and track conditions ahead.
In the lead up to the Christmas holiday, comparatively shorter trains were called for Lodi. Thanks to BNSF, cars for interchange with CCT were placed at the affectionately named "Pickle Spur", the former CCT-SP rolling stock exchange point beside the now extinct Southern Pacific Stockton & Merced Subdivision. Because of this, CCT trains were able to take a brief hiatus from operating along the B Street trackage.
