Yea -- it's a real shame Sound Transit didn't secure the entire line for either light or heavy rail use, as it parallels the state's most congested freeway. BNSF made that re-use problematic by allowing the line to be severed by WSDOT for the Interstate 405 widening project years ago. And Kirkland pulled up their stretch of track in record time to convert the Right of Way to a paved bike trail.
