It's the windy season up around windy point.....blowing all that sand around, from the beach that used to be there, on the Gulf of California....

Since they've put in so many golf courses and built so many houses over the last 50 years, down in the Coachella Valley, the blowing sand ain't nearly as bad as it used to be....

Amtrak's people have always cared much more about their passengers, than their management has, or our politicians have.....
