FROM THE RENO EVENING GAZETTE: OCT 29, 1908
In order to avail themselves of the election returns, which will be sent over the Western Union wires, the railroad men have made arrangements with the Western Union company to have a wire cut in to this city. Election returns will be received over this wire on the night of election at Young's saloon on Harriman street. The railroad electricians will put the wire in today.
