NCRA-Novato Hearing Delayed until Nov 4th

The hearing to review the Consent Decree that was
scheduled for Thursday has been continued to
November 4th.
One consequence is that the NCRA will need
to reapply or request an extension of $10 million
it was to receive from the CTC for track repair work.
As the NCRA has already requested and received
one extension, the second request will require it to
obtain approval of the CTC. (It is likely to get
the approval, but it does add some uncertainty to
the process.)
Since the next CTC Board meeting isn't until
December, it looks like track repair contracts
have been delayed again.
