Can SMART serve both Atherton and Grant Ave.

Two years ago (or so), SMART's engineers testified at the Novato CC meeting
(LTK engineers and Bill Gamlen) that they couldn't provide full service to both Atherton Ave. and Grant Ave. stations. They were too close and it would affect 30 minute headways etc. etc.

Last week Farhad said they could and would provide full service to both stations.

So, my question to the panel of experts, is Farhad lying? Is this a claim
to influence the coming city council elections, which will be reversed after November?

If he isn't lying, what new engineering/operational information could have occurred
that would allow the GM to make such a statement?
