I am so glad the fools who know nothing about Police or jails have all bashed on them with out a clue of knowing what they are talking about. First on a DUI a level of intoxication is determined if its too high the suspect goes to the hospital , if it is low enough they are booked, during this process the suspect is asked what medications are you taking? Who is your doctor? Is there any medical conditions we need to know about? If they bother to tell us what they are on or who there DR is we call and pick up their RX and it is given out as prescribed by the DR. People die in jails all the time. Of course they do they are the scum of society. Many are high at arrest or are addicted. They sneak whatever they can in when they can. They will pick the scabs off of the weaker meth addicts because it contains meth and they then smoke the scabs. They brew alcohol from fruit juice boxes and sugar. Which we have to provide by law, thank you 9th circuit. They commit suicide often with their clothes or sheets. In this day and age nobody goes to jail for that many days on a first offense DUI. Judges see fresh arrival the next business day. Even if you are convicted the majority will do less than 48 hrs. So quit whining you blithering morons
