I had the rare opportunity to ride the Mccloud in 1994 I think, a college buddies uncle owned it and said, there shooting a music video. It was Aerosmith living on the edge. They tore up and put a great set in the engine house. Had a locomotive up halfway in the air. Bizarre. I was blown away. And I grew up in the movie business. Aviation too.
Switchbacks are cool. I went to art school in weed. Even after the video. I got to ride the rails with my friend. Burney branch, all fun. Time changes and is sad, but remembering is fun. And pictures too!.
