If I am not mistaken, the Oakland VS restaurant was in a building on the Embarcadero, which had been Southern Pacific's Fruitvale Station (and had been moved to the present site). It's still there, complete with attendant railroad cars, though usually vacant Quinn's Lighthouse restaurant is nearby.

(And the Sacramento Old Spaghetti Factory is in what was the Western Pacific depot -- though without any adjacent train cars).
