To each there own, live and let live. However I don't think she understands what the railfan community is all about. Her interest/obsession with that particular F40 is far outside the realm of what even the most mentally ill/out there members of the railfan community would engage in. According to her, the primary motivation behind her obsession is simply with the number 210. She isn't interested in trains or F40s or Metra or METX 210 itself. It's all about a cosmic connection with the number 210 centered around her. She also claims to be in a relationship with METX 210. We've all met plenty of foamers who are so rabid over a particular subject/locomotive that their reaction turns of hard core railfans. But even they would cringe at the thought of humanizing or personalizing that obsession.
